Gyproc Singapore was invited by Raffles College of Higher Education to conduct a product seminar to about 50 students on 26th April 2019. This seminar was organised by Mr. Gonzales Franz Joseph Tolaram, a senior lecturer with Raffles College. Our presentation focused on introducing our revolutionary Habito plasterboard as well as the importance of fire-rated drywalls in building construction.
Saint-Gobain Singapore hosted students from Panthéon-Assas University Paris II who visited our office on 14th May 2019. This learning experience allowed them to understand Saint-Gobain's Multi Comfort concept and the various solutions our businesses have to offer.
Saint-Gobain Singapore in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), hosted a professional knowledge seminar on 29th May 2019. This seminar was focused on Saint-Gobain's Multi Comfort approach of achieving optimum Indoor Environment Quality at minimum environmental cost.

Gyproc Singapore and Weber-E.MIX Singapore conducted a lunch box knowledge sharing session with M Moser Associates on 18th June 2019. Gyproc's presentation focussed on our highly-durable Habito boards while Weber-E.MIX spoke about their tile adhesives, waterproofing, and epoxy flooring solutions.
Gyproc and Weber-E.MIX celebrated the 4 ticks certification of Weber-E.MIX products by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) at their Gala Dinner 2019 held on 5th September at the Orchard Hotel. Congratulations to Weber-E.MIX Singapore on the award.
In conjunction with the Voilah! Festival, which is a showcase of French culture and innovation in Singapore, Saint-Gobain Singapore organised a French movie session during lunchtime on 4th October 2019. Before watching "Amélie", a French romantic comedy film, our CEO, Julie Bonamy shared her thoughts on the French culture for our knowledge.
Saint-Gobain Singapore organised a lunchbox presentation at DP Architects on 17th October 2019. Gyproc Singapore used this knowledge sharing session to showcase the different types of drywall systems best suited for fire, acoustic, impact and wet areas applications as well as introduce our Activ'Air and X-ray board solutions.
Kyoob Architects visited Saint-Gobain Singapore on 29th November 2019 and they were given a tour of our Sensorialab. The visiting group was briefed on our glass solutions by Saint-Gobain Glass, drywall solutions by Gyproc, and mortar and waterproofing solutions by Weber-E.Mix.
Last weekend on 7th December 2019, the team from Saint-Gobain Singapore participated in the Santa Run for Wishes 2019, a charity run organised by Make-A-Wish Singapore. All proceeds will go towards helping to grant wishes of children with critical illnesses.
